MCP

Expose the catalog to agents over the Model Context Protocol with a scoped key.

Endpoint

POST https://api.uselocal.sh/mcp implements MCP Streamable HTTP. Authenticate with a key that has the mcp scope (plus tools:execute to run tools).

Tools exposed

Tool	Does
`catalog_search`	Search tools by text, category, source and availability.
`tool_describe`	Return a tool’s input schema, price basis and limits.
`tool_quote`	Quote a specific input before running it.
`tool_execute`	Run a tool with a quote or ceiling; returns data and the receipt.
`balance`	Read the workspace balance.

Give agents a budget

Create a dedicated key for agents with a monthly budget and a per-request ceiling. Agents cannot exceed what the key allows.
